Golf and insurance have more in common than you might think. First and foremost, golf is a game of experience—something Farmers knows a thing or two about. To translate our We Know From Experience campaign into the Farmers Insurance Open tournament experience, we explored some of that common ground. We placed signs at holes throughout the course that offered a little bit of wisdom, making our insurance insights double as tips on playing the hole like a pro.
You’ve seen the crazy claims stories on TV. Curious canines turning the living room into a swimming pool, bears ravaging the garage for grub, a greedy rodent steals a ring—not your everyday mishaps. But they happened, and with an abundance of experience, Farmers had the know-how to cover them. Our challenge was to take these often complicated claims tales, and rather than just repurpose them in smaller formats, re-tell them in compelling ways that are native to digital channels.
